  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership nursing role is highly regarded
  • Strong clinical nursing and animal handling skills
  • Confidence with anaesthesia, surgery, hospitalised patients, and emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead by example and support less experienced team members
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and daily hospital operations
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A calm, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care
  • The ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, nurses, and support staff
  • A genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture

Interest or experience in reproduction is highly regarded but not essential.

What We Offer

  • A supportive and welcoming team environment
  • A senior role with the opportunity to make a real difference within the nursing team
  • Opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development
  • A varied caseload with both routine and interesting clinical work
  • Opportunities to develop leadership, mentoring, and clinical skills
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • A workplace that values work–life balance and staff wellbeing
  • The opportunity to expand your skills across all areas of veterinary nursing, including reproduction if interested
