Veterinary Nurse | Sunbury Animal Hospital | Part‑Time (35hrs)

A clinic with history. A team with heart. A role where your nursing skills are truly valued.

About the Clinic

Sunbury Animal Hospital has been caring for the local community for close to 50 years and is proud to play a role in the care of each and every pet that has come through our doors.

We’re a close‑knit team of 5 vets and 8 veterinary nurses, delivering high‑quality small animal care with a strong focus on teamwork, support, and genuine connection, both with each other and our loyal clients.

Our team loves to learn and is passionate about delivering the highest possible standards of care, not just medically but also with respect to client care and communication.

About the role

Our nurses are highly skilled, deeply passionate, and play an essential role in the care and well-being of our patients. You will also have access to the Veterinary Training Centre for free training and workshops.

We have a strong focus on well-being and creating a supportive, fun, thriving work environment. We love to collaborate on cases as a team, and have a weekly team lunch for training, learning opportunities, or sometimes just to celebrate the little wins from the week.

Work-life balance is a priority for all our staff – there is flexibility within the roster to create your dream scenario, plus no after hours and no Sundays.

We Know This Industry Isn’t Without Its Challenges – And We Take That Seriously

Your wellbeing is not an afterthought here. We’re committed to a safe, supportive environment backed by real safety standards, EAP support, a Mental Health First Aid network, and the Best for Pet Wellness Plan – because the people who care for animals deserve to be looked after too.

Small Clinic Feel. Big Network Behind You.
